I made a new bracelet beading pattern called Flat Spiral With A Twist! I used Flat Even Count Peyote Stitch to embellish the loops on either side of a Flat Spiral Stitch bracelet. This adds a unique touch to a popular technique.

Step 1 |
Step 1: String 1A, 1B, 1A leaving a 10-inch tail.
Step 2 |
Step 2: String 16C and go back through the beads strung in Step 1 from the tail end. The seed beads will form a loop around the fire-polished beads.
Step 3 |
Step 3: String 16C and once again, pass through the beads strung in Step 1 from the tail end. Push the two loops to opposite sides of the 1A, 1B and 1A.
Step 4 |
Step 4: Go through the first 2C of one of the loops.
Step 5 |
Step 5: String 1D, skip the next 1C and pass through the following 1C.
Step 6 |
Step 6: Repeat Step 5 until you have completely embellished the first seed bead loop.
Step 7 |
Step 7: With your thread exiting the final C of the first loop, pass through the centre 1A, 1B and 1A.
Step 8 |
Step 8: Go through the first 2C of the second loop.
Step 9 |
Step 9: String 1D, skip 1C and pass through the following 1C.
Step 10 |
Step 10: Continue the embellishment of the second loop by repeating Step 9.

Step 12 |
Step 12: String 1B and 1A.
Step 13 |
Step 13: String 16C and, from the tail end, pass through the second A strung and the 1B and 1A just added.
Step 14 |
Step 14: Repeat Step 13 to create another loop. Push this loop opposite the one added in the last step.
NB: This last pair of loops should overlap the first pair of loops.
Step 15 |
Step 15: Embellish one loop by following Steps 4-7. Then, embellish the second loop of the pair.
Step 16 |
Step 16: Repeat Steps 12-15 until you have reached the desired length of your bracelet.
NB: Each pair of new loops should overlap the last pair.
Step 17 |
Step 17: String 5C and one half of your clasp.
Step 18 |
Step 18: Go back through the last seed bead strung.
Step 19 |
Step 19: String 4C.
Step 20 |
Step 20: Pass through the last 1A, 1B and 1A. Reinforce the clasp by stitching through one of the final loops on the bracelet towards the clasp. Sew through all the beads of the clasp. Weave your thread into your bracelet and tie several half-hitch knots.
