One of my most popular blog posts has been on the topic Chenille Stitch. This Stitch is a combination of Tubular Herringbone and Netting that gives an open and airy feel to your beadwork.

Banded Necklace Beading Tutorial |
You can use various bead shapes and colours to add some interest to your Chenille Stitch jewelry and I have done just that in my Banded Necklace beading tutorial.
3.4mm drop beads which have added a subtle dimension to the beadwork.
I have also combined alternating sections of Tubular Herringbone stitch using size 11 and 8 seed beads. These segments flank each side of the strip of the Chenille Stitch necklace. The result is unique necklace design that is elegant but not over-the-top.
