9. The Best Beaded Bezel for Odd-Shaped Stones by Jennifer Biedermann Jewelry

If you have stones with an irregular shape that you’d like to create a bezel around, here’s a great bead weaving tutorial showing you how to do just that.

The quantity of beads you’ll need will obviously vary depending on the size of the stone you have but this should give you an idea to start with.

Here’s the materials list:

  • Size 10 or 11 Miyuki Delica beads
  • Size 15 Miyuki seed beads
  • 1 size 12 beading needle (The designer used size 10 but I always recommend a thinner needle when working with 15/0 seed beads)
  • Beading thread
  • Thread burner or sharp scissors
  • Bead mat

10. Right-Angle Weave Beaded Bezel by The Bead Club Lounge

These are the beading supplies you’ll need for this beaded bezel:

  • 1g 11/0 Miyuki seed beads
  • 1g 15/0 Miyuki seed beads
  • 14 mm Swarovski rivoli
  • 1 yard of beading thread
  • 1 size 12 beading needle
  • Thread burner or sharp scissors
  • Bead mat

Making a beaded bezel well is something that usually comes with practice. I would recommend most of these tutorials for beaders with an intermediate skill level but the SuperDuo or Nib-bit rivoli patterns are definitely ones that beginners can try. Hopefully this list will give you all the practice you need to master these beautiful components.

When you’ve got the basics covered, try mixing up your color combinations, adding a variety of bead shapes and working with different sizes and shapes of stones or crystals.
